Episodes

  • Episode 17: The Logan Special

    May 20th, 2017  |  Season 1  |  1 hr 19 mins

Ok, folks, this is where the episode order gets weird. This week we're covering two episodes: No Mutant Is An Island and Obsession. "But Jeremy! But Gary! No Mutant Is An Island is on the fifth DVD! Why are you covering it now?!" you ask. I hear you friend, but these were intended to be next, but due to major issues with the animation studio, they were aired drastically out of order. This is going to be a recurring trend from now until we the end of the series, so make sure to check out our schedule in order to watch along with the show.

  • Episode 16: The Phoenix Saga - Part 2

    May 6th, 2017  |  Season 1  |  52 mins

Gary and Jeremy pick up right where they left off: with Banshee screaming into a mic and disrupting their entire audio production. No, wait. They're in the middle of the Phoenix Saga! They finish it off with episodes 6 and 7, including a bunch of Gambit jokes (natch, chere) and some serious off topic chat. Remember to check out [Days of Future Cast](http://www.daysoffuturecast.com] to check out the show's schedule so you can watch along with the cast. Thanks for listening!

  • Episode 15: The Phoenix Saga - Part 1

    April 22nd, 2017  |  Season 1  |  1 hr 18 mins

This is exciting. The animated series is finally tackling one of the most popular X-Men stories of all time: The Phoenix Saga. Except, it also covers a bunch of nonsense in the meantime. Including, but not limited to: Evil Xavier, Beast and Wolverine going to the club, and Gambit's secondary mutation. Gary and Jeremy talk about all of this and more in this week's episode of Days of Future Cast.

  • Episode 14: Mace Yourself

    April 8th, 2017  |  Season 1  |  1 hr 13 mins

This week's episode of Days of Future Cast finally gets to Season 3 of the animated series, and unfortunately starts out with two bummer episodes. We get to meet Wolverine's ex-girlfriend turned supervillian, Jubilee yells at people a lot, and Gambit makes more unfortunate comments about...well, everything.

  • Episode 13: Kiss Driven

    March 25th, 2017  |  Season 1  |  1 hr 23 mins

Gary and Jeremy take a break between season 2 and season 3 to answer some questions. Specifically: YOUR questions. Topics include: home loans, shipping, Legion (no spoilers, I promise), Wolverine's fascination with Jean, sexy robots, Xavier screaming, and more. Plus: deleted scenes! Thanks for listening everyone!

  • Episode 12: Logan Spoilercast

    March 11th, 2017  |  Season 1  |  1 hr 5 mins

Surprise! The DOFC boix decided to kick back the normal feedback episode and record a spoiler filled discussion on the newest X-Men movie, Logan. Spoiler alert: they both loved this film. They spend a good 10 or 15 minutes talking about the movie in general terms, then after a short musical break they get into the heavy spoilers. HEY! If you haven't watched Logan yet and have any interest in doing so, DON'T LISTEN PAST THE MUSIC.

  • Episode 11: You Got Plot Juice In My Neck Hole

    February 25th, 2017  |  Season 1  |  1 hr 57 mins

In this episode of Days of Future Cast, Gary and Jeremy take a break between season two and season three to watch X-Men 2, the second in the X-Men movie franchise, and maybe the best X-Men movie ever made? Find out in the show.

  • Episode 10: Assorted Weirdo Aliens

    February 11th, 2017  |  Season 1  |  1 hr 6 mins

We’re here to finish out Season 2 with not a bang, nor a whimper, but one fantastic episode and two absolutely dismal episodes. First, Gary and Jeremy travel through millions of miles of space to direct the X-Men in three brand new TV shows. That’s right, we FINALLY get to meet Mojo, and I’m not kidding when I say this is the best episode of the series so far. The last two episodes are spent in the (grooaaaaannn) Savage Land wrapping up the seasons long questions of “where’s xavier?” and “why do we have to talk about the Savage Land so much?” They’re not great episodes, but luckily bad episodes make fertile ground for great goofs.

  • Episode 9: Once This Thing Knots...

    January 28th, 2017  |  Season 1  |  1 hr 41 mins

Days of Future Cast has gone back to the past to bring back the only thing that can save our FUCHA: more podcasts! This week Gary and Jeremy get sucked into a time warp that has a bit more harmonica than anyone is comfortable with, deal with multiple Rogue personalities, and take an uncomfortable look at Beast’s anatomy.

  • Episode 8: ILLYANA!

    January 14th, 2017  |  Season 1  |  1 hr 38 mins

Gary and Jeremy continue their coverage of X-Men The Animated Series Season 2. This week the boys take a drip to Russia via a hi-tech skateboard, discover how Wolverine thinks phones work in Canada, then take a trip down da bayou to Jeremy’s home town and get an education on nutria rats. It’s a very helpful time, no?

  • Episode 7: The Nasty Boys Are Back In Town

    December 31st, 2016  |  Season 1  |  1 hr 51 mins
mr sinister, nasty boys, summers wedding, x-men

Days of Future Cast is back! Gary Butterfield and Jeremy Greer are returning to X-Men The Animated Series, starting with the first three episodes of Season 2. Join us as we get frisky at Scott and Jean’s wedding, resurrect ancient SNL bits, use a terrible word that should never be used on a podcast, and take a terribly boring trip to Africa.

  • Episode 6: We're Too Old For Anime

    December 17th, 2016  |  Season 1  |  1 hr 18 mins
anime, emails, ffxv, the last guardian, westworld, x-men

After taking some super easy shots at anime in general, Gary and Jeremy begin answering your questions! Thanks again to all of you who wrote in and gave us prompts or just said some super nice things about the show. If you want to send in stuff for the next feedback episode, which will happen after we finish the second season of the animated series, send ‘em our way! All of our links are below.
